For a Tri Bike, minimizing aerodynamic drag is the primary goal in addition to putting the rider in a comfortable, sustainable, efficient and powerful position.

Pre-purchase Bike Fit

The most important parameter when considering purchasing a new bike is the fit. Bike Fit refers to the bike geometry and bike configuration that best matches your specific body dimensions. If the bike fit doesn’t match your body then the bike will be uncomfortable, not powerful and not aerodynamic.

The bike industry is moving toward online sales. Online retailers’ online sizing tools are rough estimates at best. Let us help you find the right size bike whether buying from a brick and mortar store or an online retailer.

A Pre-Purchase Bike Fit from Sport Speed Lab includes the services in the Pro Bike Fit and will yield your specific bike fit coordinates. With these bike fit coordinates and your Sport Speed Lab Bike Fit Report you can shop confidently.

A Post-Purchase bike setup and fit check available as an additional service.

The Pre-Purchase Bike Fit takes 2 to 3 hours to complete. Post-Purchase bike setup and fit check takes about 1.5 hours.

Basic Bike Fit

For the rider looking for fit expertise to ensure the safety and comfort but not ready for the Pro Bike Fit, the Basic Fit will have Sport Speed Lab’s expert fitter visually assess and modify your bike configuration.

If you are dealing with or recovering from an injury, looking to improve performance or aerodynamics, riding a triathlon bike, or riding more than 3 hours per week, the Pro Fit is recommended.

The Basic Bike Fit takes about one hour to complete.

Cost: $95

Shoe, Foot and Cleat Services

Numb toes, hot spots, foot pain, saddle pain? Cleat positioning, custom insole molding, saddle fit can help alleviate these common bike comfort issues.

The Foot Analysis and Cleat Positioning service assesses foot type, looks at the need for Foot Balance insoles, forefoot angulation and other parameters. Saddle fit helps you determine the correct saddle for your anatomy. If you’re dealing with ‘hot spots’, toe numbness, foot numbness, or saddle pain then let the fit experts at Sport Speed Lab help you alleviate these common cycling problems.

Foot Analysis and Cleat positioning takes about 45 minutes to complete. Saddle Fit takes about an hour. Custom insoles require an additional 15 minutes.
